Mamikon’s in-depth knowledge and love of wildlife, of the country’s area and biological resources, from hundreds of days in the field and lifetime experience in natural sciences, especially in zoology rightfully earn him the title of the lead scientist and biologist.
Luba Balyan, co-founder of the Armenian Society for the Protection of Birds (ASPB), National Important Bird Areas (IBA) Programme Coordinator.

With her great passion in birds, Luba stood at the path when the Society was just beginning to take shapes. She brings her dedication and commitment to biodiversity and bird conservation and puts every shred of effort to contribute to the growth of the Society ever since.
Marianna Danielyan, Education officer and designer

Marianna joined ASPB in 2006 and it has been 5 years her outstanding flight of thoughts and tremendous love of younger generations give birth to a plethora of unique and enthusiastic education events and training sessions.

Tsovinar is the youngest and perhaps one of the most dedicated ‘disciple’ of bird conservation in the Society. After joining the team in 2008, she soon became an indispensable member of the research group, embracing a broad spectrum of conservation issues and generating ideas. This energetic lady adds verve to almost every action within the organization.
